Since 2013, I’ve been designing and making leather bags and accessories by hand in Bellingham, Washington. And somewhere along the way, a simple idea for using our leftover leather became one of the most meaningful parts of Moss Bags.
Today, Moss Dogs are at the heart of what we do - fun leather dog keychains and keepsakes inspired by our favorite four-legged friends. Each one is cut and assembled in our studio, with a portion of profits supporting guide and search-and-rescue dogs.
And because more than a decade in business has given me plenty of stories to share, I also created Hey Julie Simon - a podcast and growing collection of honest conversations, behind-the-scenes lessons, and encouragement for women building businesses of their own.
